These rocks, which are mechanically and chemically more fractured than volcanic rocks, produce carbonate-type waters of the highest mineralization with a unique composition consisting almost entirely of sodium bicarbonate, but with a high boron content. In the vicinity of Polyana, the ascent to the Uklynskyi Pass begins and two rivers meet - Mala Pynia and Velyka Pynia, giving rise to the Pynia. To the southeast of the village is Mount Krekhaya, to the east the village is protected by Mount Kichera, and to the west rises the mountain range Sinyak with the peak of the Danube.
